For use on medium weight hollow metal doors with channel iron frames requiring low frequency service.
Half Mortise hinges have one leaf mortised in the door edge and the other leaf applied to the surface of the jamb. Used when conditions prevent the jamb leaf from being mortised (i.e. channel iron jamb)
Five Knuckle with button tip and plug

Supplied with Removable Pin (SRP) as standard.
Most hinges and/or finishes available with Non-Removable Pin (NRP) for an additional charge. Specify SRP or NRP when applicable.
Non-Removable pin prevents the hinge pin from being removed when the door is closed. A threaded set screw located in the barrel is tightened down into a groove in the hinge pin.

Note: Plain bearing not recommended if door closer used. With door closer, use ball bearing hinges.
