For use on regular weight hollow metal or wood composite doors with hollow metal frames requiring low frequency service.
Half Surface hinges have one leaf applied to the surface (face) of the door and the other leaf mortised in the jamb. Used when conditions prevent the door leaf from being mortised (i.e. kalamein or mineral core door)

Supplied with Removable Pin (SRP) as standard.
Most hinges and/or finishes available with Non-Removable Pin (NRP) for an additional charge. Specify SRP or NRP when applicable.
Non-Removable pin prevents the hinge pin from being removed when the door is closed. A threaded set screw located in the barrel is tightened down into a groove in the hinge pin.
